Cancellations & changes
Our goal at Mango & Mint is to process orders efficiently for fast delivery. Gifts are immediately prepared after orders are placed and therefore cannot be changed or cancelled.
Cancellations/refunds will not be granted to customers who realize that we are unable to fulfill their requests after an order has been placed.
Returns & Refunds
Pursuant to health and safety regulations, we are unable to exchange or accept returns on food products. Non-perishable items may be returned, but must be unopened, unused, and in the original packaging. Returned products/baskets will also be subject to a 50% re-stocking fee to account for the items that we are no longer able to use.
Custom orders are final sale, but pre-designed gifts can only be returned by the purchaser within 7 days. Any shipping charges incurred are non-refundable.
We also abide by a strict no refund policy, meaning our organization is rarely, if ever, able to grant refunds under most circumstances. The following reasons are not eligible for refunds:
- change of minds
- option of taste (don’t like what was sent)
- item no longer required
- Delivery was “late” using a *non-guaranteed service
- unwilling to pay additional service fees
- failed delivery
We believe that there is always a suitable, more reasonable alternative to issuing a refund. In some cases, customers may be eligible for a store credit to apply towards a future purchase. If a customer is unhappy with a product they’ve received in any way, please contact our customer service directly so that we can work together towards satisfying both parties.
Damages
At Mango & Mint, we take great pride in selecting only the freshest and finest products available. If for some reason, your gift arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt and we will be happy to work together to resolve the issue.
Substitution
We do our best to keep the shelves stocked with the products and brands shown in each gift, however, there are some situations that we cannot control on the supplier end. This may involve supply delay, change in packaging or product discontinuation, without prior notification to us.
In the instance when demand outstrips supply of a particular item, we reserve the right to make substitutions of equal or greater value, with no additional charge to you. We will do our best to ensure the basket retains the original theme and aesthetic.
Undeliverable Items
From time to time, we attempt delivery, and the gift is undeliverable. This can occur if the item is refused at the time of delivery, an incorrect address was provided, the order was missing information, the recipient moved, it was deemed not safe to be left, and so on.
If a gift is undeliverable, it is returned to our head office and the sender will be notified at the phone number and/or email address provided when the order was placed.
- For delivery to be attempted a second time, a second delivery fee will be applied, since a second delivery will be made.
If we are unable to make arrangements for redelivery within 7 days of the return, the gift will be considered abandoned. No refunds will be given.
Privacy
Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us! Rest assured that we do not sell or share your information with third parties. We may employ outside companies to perform functions on our behalf such as delivering orders, sending emails and processing credit card payments. However, they have access to only the personal information required to perform their duties.
